Promotion for my upcoming Medium.Com post

My eyes were glued to the TV as I watched Bad Bunny perform. I caught glimpses of powerful references that honored Latinx culture, and my eyes began to water because I had never seen anything quite like it. I was witnessing a moment of Latinx representation on one of the world’s biggest stages at a time when immigration debates and negative headlines about Latinx communities are everywhere.
The emotions I and millions of others felt are why representation matters. In my latest Medium article, I explore how this performance goes beyond music to celebrate identity, visibility, and culture taking center stage in a way we don’t see often.

On LinkedIn, I led with analysis because the platform is rooted in professional identity, so I framed the performance within media history and representation while keeping it concise.
I opened with the claim that the Super Bowl had never seen a performance fully in Spanish or so deeply rooted in Latinx identity to establish context immediately.
By positioning the article as a breakdown, I signal that there is more to unpack, possibly luring in the average LinkedIn scroller with the implication that my article will be both credible and analytical.
The image of the stadium filled with flags and the bold message that love is more powerful than hate reinforces the scale of the moment I am discussing.
On LinkedIn, I am a journalism and honors student, so I leaned into credibility, clarity, and analysis.

On Instagram, I focused on how the performance felt instead of leading with analysis. The platform is visual, personal, and geared toward younger audiences, so I used language that was easy to digest.
I chose the close up image of Bad Bunny holding the Puerto Rican flag because it fits Instagram’s format and captures pride, resistance, and identity in one frame. The flag is not just a backdrop, it is a statement.
In the caption, I highlighted feeling seen and represented, connecting the moment to community, culture, and the current political climate while directing readers to my article for deeper analysis.
To Instagram, I am not just a journalism student. I am part of the community I am writing about, so I centered emotion and impact.
Threads

On Threads, I leaned into immediacy and conversation. The platform moves quickly and is rooted in real time reactions, so I kept my tone direct and reflective.
I focused on the cultural weight of the performance rather than breaking it down in depth. I wanted it to feel like a thought you post in the moment but still intentional.
The image I chose felt grounded and intimate, highlighting the themes of heritage and identity without having to explain them.
On Threads, I shared a concise message that invited engagement while still pointing back to my full article for deeper analysis.
